About Rebecca
I’ve always been a very active person - cycling hundreds of miles, hitting the golf course whenever I could, juggling multiple jobs, and chasing life at full speed. But then my health hit a wall. Stress, long hours, and sleepless nights caught up to me, and I had to give up much of what I loved.
At the same time, was watching loved ones navigate diabetes and other chronic health challenges. I saw firsthand how health struggles can quietly take over your life. I knew there had to be a better way - one that focused on true wellness and restoration.
That’s why I created Break Free Health & Wellness: a space to reset, recharge, and support your body naturally. My goal is simple - help people find balance, restore energy, and feel their best.
My Approach
I have come to believe the best health remedies are FREE: sunlight, fresh air, cold, darkness, and the ground under your feet.
Real life, of course, doesn’t always cooperate - early commutes, long winters, nonstop schedules. You miss sunrise, you miss time outside, and your nervous system never gets a chance to downshift.
Break Free exists to bring those nature signals indoors, on your schedule - so you can reset without rearranging your life.
-
Infrared Sauna – Deep, gentle heat to help you unwind and loosen up. Think: cozy “sun warmth” without UV.
-
Cold Plunge – Short, controlled cold to build resilience and wake up your whole system.
-
Red Light Therapy – Targeted red/NIR light to complement the daylight you didn’t get.
-
Sound Therapy – Low-frequency vibration that nudges your body into calm (hello, vagus).
-
Grounding Sessions – Intentional downtime to reconnect and actually exhale.
-
Massage Recliner – A zero-effort to release tension and let your body shift into rest mode.
Nature first.
When you can’t get outside, I’ve got an indoor plan that respects how your body really works - light, temperature, rhythm, and rest.
My Journey Beyond the Studio
These days, when I’m not helping clients, you’ll usually find me working with my hands - woodworking, carving, or tackling construction projects. I recently moved Break Free into a new building I renovated myself, turning it into a space that reflects the same care and creativity I bring to my work and hobbies.
I’ve been there - trying to keep up with life while feeling worn out. I know how transformative it can be to step off the hamster wheel and focus on your health. My goal is to help you do the same - without judgment, without gimmicks, just real support for your body and mind.
One of my favorite mottos says it best:
“Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best.”
